2011 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing (GrC 2011) November 8-10, 2011, Kaohsiung, Taiwan http://grc2011.nuk.edu.tw/ Call for Paper Invited Session on Innovative Social Computing and Applications Session Organizers: Shyue-Liang Wang, Tzung-Pei Hong, I-Hsien Ting We are organizing an invited session on Innovative Social Computing and Applications for IEEE GrC 2011, which will be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on November 8-10, 2011. This session deals with new technologies for social analysis, mining and application. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: 1. Large scale on-line social network analysis 2. Connection between biological similarities and social network formulation 3. Contextual social network mining 4. Dynamics and evolution patterns of social networks 5. Crime data mining and network analysis 6. Privacy, security and social Mining 7. Applications of social network mining 8. Evolutionary techniques in social computing 9. Bio-inspired techniques in social computing 10. Others about social computing and applications Submissions: Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the IEEE format with title, author's names, affiliation, email addresses, an up to 150-words abstract, and a two-column body.
