Welcome to Hiking with Dom a blog for those who love hiking in Pennsylvania! My name is Dominique Hughes, Dom, and I am a student who loves hiking, enrolled in COMM100N this semester. In COMM100N, we look at the interaction between mass media and society along with the social influences that shape media messages. The semester project in this course is to create and maintain a blog. The blog topic was ours to choose, and I decided on something I truly love… HIKING! I love to be outdoors, especially with the ones I love, like my pup, Callie, and my best friend, Dylan.
