This is my Thirteenways project done in Adobe Illustrator. I used different letters and fonts to create my work based off the poem “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird” by Wallace Stevens. I chose specific stanzas to come up with my ideas for my final piece.

These are my 3 sketches for the Thirteenways project. 2 of the sketches are individual drawings of each stanza of the “Thirteen Ways of Looking at Blackbird” poem by Wallace Stevens. The last sketch is notes taken to help me start my project.

This is my Type Drawing exercise I worked on in class today. I changed the look of the letters using pathfinder which was done in Illustrator.

This is my Gestalt Praxis exercise from class today. This is the first exercise for the thirteen ways project.
