My name is David Estfanous and I’m a cybersecurity major at Penn State University. I am looking to work as a Cybersecurity Consultant or Analyst and utilize the skills learned from school and competitions that I have been a part of.

Some of the coursework included Security Risk Analysis courses which focused on assets and risk management, Cyber courses which focused more on the technicals of protecting a network, and IST courses which focused more on the writing and presentation aspect of reporting findings, creating policies, and arguing the spending proposed to upper management in a way that they can comprehend it.

I am always recognized for honesty, integrity, and communication in school and previous jobs. My current goal is to grow in the field by obtaining certifications and doing as many CTF challenges, such as Defcon’s blue team and SANS Community, and as many programs like PentesterLab as I can so I could be more knowledgeable about Penetration Testing, Incident Response, and purple team skills in general!
