Lab assignment #4 — Initial proposal for paper #3 topic
(Due in lab Friday, February 15)
The purpose of this assignment is to help students get started on their final papers (research proposals). In the space below, describe the general topic you plan for your research proposal. Your description should be specific enough to include hypotheses that you might wish to test, but you do not need to describe all of the specific details such as independent and dependent variables, exact methods for collecting data, and so on. Explain how you got your ideas. A one- or two-paragraph description should be enough for now. This assignment will be returned with feedback indicating that your topic is approved, is not acceptable, or needs to be further clarified by discussion with your instructor. Once your topic is approved, major changes also require approval! This assignment is worth 20 points.
