Lab assignment #8 – Identifying levels of experimental variables (Due in lab Friday, April 5)
This lab is worth 25 points.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide some practice in identifying and describing levels of independent variables in a published experiment.
Your assignment is to locate an article in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin that describes a true experiment (i.e., not a correlational study). For your convenience, I am making available several volumes of my own copies of PSPB in our classroom. Locate all of the independent variables in the experiment.
You are to turn in a description, not more than one page long, of the independent variables and the levels of the independent variables in the study. Include a citation to the article in APA format.
