APRIL 25-29, 2022

Research shows therapy dogs, and even robotic dogs, can help reduce stress in college students.

Could petting a stuffed dog have a similar effect? Come to the library and find out!

Be one of the first 12 students to pet one of the library’s stuffed dogs and get $10 to eat at Rosie!

Take a look at some of the research:

“Petting Away Pre-Exam Stress: The Effect of Therapy Dog Sessions on Student Well-Being”

“A Randomized Cross-over Exploratory Study of the Effect of Visiting Therapy Dogs on College Student Stress Before Final Exams”

“Using Robot Animal Companions in the Academic Library to Mitigate Student Stress”

Any Penn State York student who has not already won a $10 Rosie’s coupon this semester is eligible to win!
