Glovebox equipped with spin coater

Glovebox equipped with spin coater

The PureLab HE 3GB Glovebox design is based on a modular platform allowing customers to expand existing glove boxes to meet increasing working space requirements. Glove box expansion features include additional antechambers for thru-flow work processes, cold storage freezers, process vacuum ovens and furnaces, and a full line of accessories. Inert’s Gas Management Systems provide a < 1ppm O2 and H2O inert atmosphere required for a multitude of air-sensitive applications.

The Laurell WS-650-23 B spin coater is compact and packed with advanced features. This 650-series coater system will accommodate up to o150mm wafers and 5″ × 5″ (127mm × 127mm) substrates and features a maximum rotational speed of 12,000 RPM, which enables to deposit thin films with different thickness.

Thermal evaporation system

Thermal evaporation system

The COVAP thermal evaporation system is designed for the lab that requires a safe and reliable tool that produces repeatable, high quality thin films. Deposition sources are isolated to reduce thermal effects and cross contamination.  It is equipped with a complete set of removable chambers shielding to ensure the chamber can be easily cleaned and maintained. The deposition of Al, Ag and Au is available for this system.

3A solar simulator with I-V curve measurement system

3A solar simulator with I-V curve measurement system

The solar simulators produce Class 3A Air Mass 1.5 Emission Spectrum to accurately replicate full spectrum sunlight. Sol3A solar simulators are certified to Class AAA for all three of the following standards: IEC 60904-9 Edition 2 (2007), JIS C 8912, and ASTM E 927-10. The solar simulator can generate 2×2, 4×4, 6×6, 8×8 or 12×12 inch output beam, with variable attenuator for 0.1 to 1.0 SUN output.

Keithley’s Model 2400 source meter SMU Instrument is ideal for diode characterization because it can source and measure both current and voltage. The instrument can simultaneously source and measure current from 10 fA to 10 A pulse and/or voltage from 100nV to 200V. Combined with the solar simulator and source meter, we can measurement the conversion efficiency of solar cell device under different light intensity.

Laser Flash Photolysis Spectrometer

Laser Flash Photolysis Spectrometer

Transient Absorption / Laser Flash Photolysis is a technique for studying the transient chemical and biological species generated by a short, intense light pulse from a nanosecond pulsed laser source (pump pulse). The LP980 spectrometer sets the standard for technical performance required in a premier research instrument, offering unsurpassed measurement capabilities across a broad range of chemical, physical and biological applications. Transient Absorption decays are recorded at a single wavelength as a function of time using a photodetector and a digital storage oscilloscope. This mode provides very accurate measurement of transient kinetics since a complete time-resolved measurement of the transients is made in a single flash experiment. Lifetimes from nanoseconds to seconds can be measured over a wavelength range from 230 nm – 2550 nm.

Quantum Efficiency Measurement Solutions

Quantum Efficiency Measurement Solutions

The QUANTX-300 empowers researchers to measure internal Quantum Efficiency (IQE) and quantify External Quantum Efficiency (EQE) for any photovoltaic device with a wide wavelength range of 325 – 1800 nm. This model has an integrated, software-controlled sample voltage bias, adjustable from -10 to +10V and also includes a 4-wire sense which broadens the capabilities to include a large range of sample sizes and efficiencies.

Photoluminescence spectrometer

Photoluminescence spectrometer

The FLS1000 Spectrometer is capable of measuring both steady and transient photoluminescence of semiconducting materials for determining materials’ optical bandgap, charge decay lifetime, charge extraction dynamics in heterojunction bilayers, and other optical related properties.

A full range of detector options are available to enhance the range of spectral coverage and/ or to reduce the instrumental response width for lifetime measurements. The instrument comes standard with a PMT-900 detector in a cooled housing which covers a range from 185 nm-900 nm, in TCSPC mode the instrumental response width is approximately 600 ps. Optional detectors include: high speed PMTs in a cooled housing with instrument response <200 ps, MCP-PMT in cooled housings with a response <25 ps, NIR-PMTs to cover spectral ranges out to 1700 nm with photon counting sensitivity and speed, InGaAs detectors with spectral coverage up to ~1.65 mm, 2.05 um and 2.55 mm, InAs and InSb detectors to cover up to 5.50 mm.

UV-Visible/NIR Spectrophotometer

UV-Visible/NIR Spectrophotometer

UH4150 Spectrophotometer is used to measure the light absorption, reflectance, and transmission as a function of wavelength for solid film and solution samples. The UH4150 measures from 240 to 2,600 nm in approximately two minutes. It is effective for samples requiring measurement in UV-VIS-NIR wavelength range, such as solar reflective materials.
