The Penn State Economics Association puts on a yearly event where two members of the economics department’s faculty, and teams of students, debate a current social or economic issue. This year the topic is illegal immigration to the United States.
The Great Debate an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their presentation skills and to work with professors in the department. The attached flier has all of the relevant information!

Get ready, everyone; Canvas is coming. PSU’s replacement for Angel will become more widely available in Spring 2016 and almost universal in Fall 2016. Canvas has a much more modern user interface and mobile app. Students and faculty alike should expect a learning curve because of differences between Canvas and Angel.
