Areas of Interest: Solid State Physics: mathematical crystallography; symmetry in physics: phase transitions, incommensurate and quasi-periodic crystals, ferroic crystals, and analysis of x-ray and neutron diffraction of magnetic and non-magnetic crystals. Molecular Biology: Symmetry of biological macromolecules as determined by x-ray analysis.
