How does it work?

The calculator estimates the EDC footprint based on concentrations of 55 EDCs in a report from the Silent Spring Institute (Dodson et al., 2012)
EDCs in the report that were classified as <1,000 μg/L were further investigated from other sources to obtain more specific numbers to use in the calculator
We used sources such as the Household Product Database, which was developed by the U.S department of Health and Human Services, to estimate these values
