Concept
So for project 3.4 I did struggle a little with coming up for an idea for my concept because there was a lot to choose from. But in the end I decided to go with a bunny and an apple since bunnies are one of my favorite animals and apples are one of my favorite fruits. I thought it would be cool to combine them together and easy as well even though that the idea of combining both the bunny and apple didn’t come fast it did take a while for figure out where I wanted to place everything but the only other thing that I struggled with a little bit with was trying to import it.
ITERATION
As you can see in my iteration I also did have a little bit of a hard time trying to get the bunny on top of the apple because in each view front and side it would show me that it was way to far from each other and th bunny was not sitting on top of the apple like I wanted to it so figuring out how to make it pleasing in each angle was a little challenging but after a while of moving everything around I was able to get it to so it was perfect and also looked pleasing to the eye as well.
SYNTHESIS
This is my synthesis and ready to print file and I think it came out great even thought it took some time in the end I was able to get everything perfect and how I imagined. After getting my model done the only thing that was left for me to do so everything was completed was to import my file into meshmixer so it can be done and ready for the 3D Printing machine. My experience using meshmixer was not to hard and it was pretty straight forward on how to export my file into a obj file which was helpful for me since not to many steps were required.
FABRICATION
This is my fabrication and final 3D model I am very surprised and happy with the results because it definitely turned out to be better then expected. Overall this project even though it took some playing around with the software a little it was pretty easy compared to the laser cutter for example. By doing these projects especially with my experience with the laser cutter I learned that using these softwares require patience and trial and error and that it’s okay if it takes a while to figure things out so with what I learned from those projects I implemented with this and took my time and took it easy with everything and had a smooth outcome.
