TESLA, Teaching Elementary Science Leadership Academy, is accepting applications for paid internships starting this semester!
As part of the program, you will collaborate on service projects related to STEM education, engage with children and families at Discovery Space, help design interactive STEM exhibits, and more. If you complete your internship requirements (regular attendance, one collaborative project, and 10 hours of service per month), you will receive $500 per semester. More importantly, you will be able to gain valuable professional experience and encourage young children’s curiosity and sense of wonder outside of the school day. Past TESLA members have gained leadership opportunities in the local community, confidence teaching STEM, and referenced their experiences at job interviews.
