Final Certification Testing
To qualify for a teaching certificate in Pennsylvania, a student must meet all testing requirements established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). All test scores should be sent to PDE and to Penn State.
Elementary and Early Childhood Education
Middle Level
Students testing for Middle Level Education will need to take both the Core Assessment and the concentration area test for certification.

Students testing for World Language Education will need to take both the Fundamental Subject Knowledge Praxis and ACTFL OPI and WPT tests for certification.
