Lisa serves as the director of the Hamer Center for Community Design, the center that houses the Energy Efficient Housing Research Group. She is an Associate Professor of Architecture and a registered architect, professional planning, and LEED accredited professional (LEED AP) who has focused her work and research on building and planning for a sustainable future.

Chris is a research technician at the Hamer Center for Community Design and leads the Energy Efficient Housing Research Group. Chris graduated Penn State in May 2017 with a Master of Architecture degree. He has worked with architects across the country on a variety of projects and scales. Chris’ primary project has been the development of the GreenBuild project, a net zero-energy ready duplex in State College, PA.

Scott is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the College of Arts & Architecture and a professor of architecture. His research and interests include bridging architectural technology and poetic intention from urban scales to the detail; learning by making through design/build; probing the ethical dimensions of design. Scott has been involved in the design and development of the GreenBuild Duplex located at 1394 University Drive, sharing his knowledge in energy efficient design, residential design, and student-community engagement.

Allen is an assistant professor in Materials Science and Engineering and the associate head for undergraduate studies. Allen has been working with a PhD student in Architectural Engineering to perform an in-depth energy analysis on his home in State College after an intensive energy retrofit.
