If you are interested in becoming a member of E-House there are a few steps you must complete. First you should fill out this application, you can read more about it here!
First you have to have a housing contract for the upcoming year which is done for all incoming freshmen. To access this contract navigate to Penn State’s eLiving website where all of your housing related things will be controlled. Next, click the “Contracts” tab and press “Summary” which should bring you to a page viewing your current contract which you should open.

Next you will be asked to provide information for a preferred roomate if you so choose. (Both parties must fill this out with each other’s IDs)
Afterwards you can press next to make your way to the next page which will ask about Living Learning Community (LLC) preference which is what E-House is. Here you can indicate your preference to join E-House.
After selecting you will be asked further questions about what your priority is (Room type, dorm location, or LLC).
Next you will be asked to select a level of Meal Plan.
Finally you will make it to the final screen which asks you to read and review the Housing Food Service Contract Terms and Conditions. This is a legally binding contract. After you’re finishing reviewing the Terms and Conditions you can click finish locking in the information you have entered for consideration as Penn State assigns housing.
