My name is Elizabeth Gardner, and I’m a soon-to-be graduate of Penn State University, where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and a minor in microbiology. My main interest is neuroscience, and for the past two years I have worked as a research assistant in Bernhard Luscher‘s laboratory where I study GABA-A receptor-neuroligin interactions. In the fall, I plan to attend the University of Texas in Austin where I will pursue my PhD in cell and molecular biology.
