This is about to be very difficult for me, as I enjoy each and every one of them. But, here we go!
(Well, not ranking EVERY character from The Office, because that would take a while. Here are 26!)
26. Roy Anderson
He was ab*sive in his relationship with Jan, and he punched walls. Need I say more?
25. Gabe Lewis
I almost wish that I liked Gabe more than I actually did because I usually do tend to side with the quirky, cringy characters in shows. However, Gabe was a bit too cringy for me, and I don’t really enjoy the way he acted toward Erin during their relationship or after it ended.
24. Clark Green
Clark was a charming and funny new addition to the office, but he wasn’t all that memorable to me as a viewer. His friendship with Pete is very cute, though.
23. Ryan Howard
I really did not enjoy Ryan as a character. He was pretentious and was not very friendly to his co-workers. He did give me a few laughs here and there, though. But, how could one possibly breakup with Queen Kelly Kapoor so many times?!
22. Robert California
Robert was mysterious, and very cold at times. He was always aloof, yet full of wisdom. Truly an enigma.
21. Karen Filipelli
Many people dispised Karen for tearing apart PB&J (Pam and Jim). I did not resent her for that, I actually thought she was pretty sweet. I may be biased because I love Rashida Jones.
20. Pete Miller
I loved his relationship with Erin. He was a really sweet character, I would have enjoyed seeing him develop more had the show not ended.
19. Nellie Bertram
When Nellie was first introduced, I will admit, I was not the biggest fan of her. As she continued to develop, though, she became one of my favorites. She is only ranked so slow on this list because of that first impression. Sorry Nellie, you still rock!
18. Toby Flenderson
According to Michael, Toby is the absolute worst. To me, though, he is a sweet guy who is an essential part of The Office. We love you Toby (except for Michael)!
17. Phyllis Vance
Phyllis is the mom of the office. She is an absolute joy and treasure. She’s got some amazing comebacks, and is always full of sass. Did she ever mention that her husband Bob Vance works at Vance Refrigeration? Haha!
16. Jan Levinson
Jan was an absolute icon. She could be annoying at times, sure, but she was full of entertainment value. Definitely not the best partner for Michael, though.
15. Meredith Palmer
Meredith gave me endless laughs. She had fun and lived life authentically. I will never forget the last episode when she claimed that she was getting her Ph.D. in Psychology during her time at the office. She can truly do it all.
14. Holly Flax
Holly was an absolute gem. I remember being so excited when her character got introduced. She is certainly Michael’s soulmate, and I am a huge fan of her and their relationship.
13. Dwight Shrute
He was full of memorable quotes, laughs, and cringy moments. I could not imagine The Office without him and his beet farm.
12. Andy Bernard
Near the end of the show, he became increasingly unlikeable. However, he is a sweetheart who loves to sing. He grew on me a lot from his introduction to the show. An acquired taste, if you will.
11. Creed Bratton
The real enigma. Is his name even actually Creed?
10. Darryl Philbin
Darryl was always kind, got along well with the rest of the characters, and was a hard-worker. He was very admirable, and I loved his friendship with Jim. Also, his daughter is adorable!
9. Angela Martin
The Queen of cats. She was absolutely hilarious, and I always appreciated her as a character!
8. Stanley Hudson
Stanley holds my heart in his hands. He cracks me up, and is a huge fan of Pretzel Day! He is the King of rolling his eyes at his co-workers.
7. Oscar Martinez
He kept everybody’s heads on straight. Always politically correct, intelligent, and organized. He will always be one of my favorite characters from this show!
6. Kelly Kapoor
Okay, I am extremely biased with this character. I am a big fan of Mindy Kaling – I even used one of her quotes as an Instagram caption once! Kelly is full of sass and she never fails to make me laugh.
5. Jim Halpert
I have a huge crush on John Krasinski, I’ll admit that. Jim is an incredible character, with lots of interesting developments throughout the show. PB&J forever!
4. Michael Scott
The Office would not be The Office without Michael Scott. He is one of the best fictional characters of our generation.
3. Pam Beesly
The real question: how could you not love Pam?! An amazing mother, wife, and overall person. We love Pam!
2. Erin Hannon
My underrated favorite. Erin is an absolute sweetheart. I adore this character and Ellie Kemper as an actress.
1. Kevin Malone
Who else could possibly be my favorite character of The Office?! Kevin Malone is an angel and a goof who doesn’t know how to do Math. He also loves chili. I feel like we’d get along swimmingly.
Kelly is worst the character ever!
