- Review: Memrise is a language learning application. It has a user-friendly interface. Memrise offers users to choose and adjust the content according to their level. Users can choose their daily learning target and focus. In these aspect, the application is quite flexible adaptable.
You can add friends and compete with them. To be able to add your friend sounds like creating affinity group to me that Gee (2000) mentioned. Memrise offers implicit learning opportunity in informal learning setting. Because Memrise is a language learning application, users can gain various literacy skills while learning language. Sending message is not available in this app. Besides, private information is not shared with users in your fried list. Therefore, it is a safe to use application in terms of privacy.
