Project Plan: StormCallers 10/12

We have met with our representative at Glenside Elementary School and discussed our participation in the two Fall Activity Fairs that will take place. Our job will be to inform children about the environment using fun activities and educational methods. Our first Activity Fair is the Fall Fest on Wednesday, October 28; our plan of action will be to provide various leaves and tracing paper to show the kids the different patterns and veins of the different leaves of fall. The second Activity Fair is the Math and Science Fair on Thursday, November 19; we have come up with an informative and fun method in teaching kids math. We will create a ‘stream’ and have a ‘frog’ on one side that needs to hop to the other end, but cannot reach the other side without hopping on the proper lily pads. Each lily pad will have a number and/or a math sign and must reach the number at the other end of the ‘stream’. Our current objective is to gather the proper supplies for both activities and prepare a fun and educational environment for the kids of Glenside Elementary School.
