We paved our section with gravel that were eroded, we stomped the gravel down and raked the eroded spots to make it look natural to the trail. Tracey came up with an idea to get a tarp that is biodegradable and embedded it in the ground near the fence and covered it with dirt so that the rainwater can runoff to the fence away from the trail. The tarp can last for 100 years and not deteriorate.
