March , 2016: Starting our research on Pennsylvania Water Extraction Laws and Policies
Today, the Lady Lions of Sierra started on their research for the Sierra Club. We just received our paperwork from the organization and we are also currently scheduling times for when we can have a conference with Darree (our intern coordinator) and set a date to start our hands on work. Within the next week or so we will be reading up on the primary goal for the Sierra Club, gathering information on issues concerning water extraction, researching industrial and political concerns with water extraction, and creating a community engagement which will provide support towards a healthier and more beneficial environment.
