Books and Beyond Research

Our group has decided to choose native species as our topic. We heard the concerns of Glenside that over the summer months there isn’t anyone to keep up with the garden. In our research we found that native species will thrive with little maintenance. We are thinking about planting Bee Balm, Bigroot Geranium, Black-Eyed Susan, and/or Phlox. We talked to another group so far and are excited to collaborate with them. They would like to put benches in the garden, so we can make sure that we put the plants close to the bench to make the garden a place to relax, watch butterflies, and learn!
