Today’s meeting with our EACAP group was entirely focused on compiling research for our outline. All members of the Boo Crew were present in the Mac computer lab in the library and worked diligently on their respective topics. We have chosen lantern flies as the subject for our research paper, and each member has taken up a different aspect of them to address. Tessa has looked up information on invasive species as a whole, Kaila found material on the origin of lantern flies as well as a description of them, Tori has tasked herself with finding solutions to the problems the problems these insects pose, and Brianne is conducting an interview with a staff member at Nolde Forest to gain insight on how the bugs are affecting the woods there. We made great progress today and are on track to completing the outline by this Saturday.
