Final Post Earth Huggers 5/3/2015

Hello everyone! This is the final presentation on our research and our action to help the environment. Blue Marsh and Road Salt Presentation.

Everyone from Earth Huggers really appreciates the support from the EACAP website here and all the students at Penn State Berks. The experience was amazing and unique. Our group wishes the best of luck to all the future students of Prof. Kazempour who will be helping the environment.

Enjoy your summer everyone!

Earth Huggers’ Research Topic

Hey everyone! Earth Huggers here to let everyone know that our group is beginning our research topic and we are super excited to begin.

The research topic that Earth Huggers has decided to research is…….

excessive salting of roads during the winter!

Earth Huggers believes this is a relative and serious topic in our area , Reading, Pennsylvania, due to the increasing amounts of snow fall each and every year. Our in depth and descriptive research will shed some light on the subject.

Please stay up to date with your friendly neighborhood Earth Huggers.

Short Introduction (Earth Huggers) March 7th, 2015

Hey everyone! I am going to give a brief introduction on myself and team members that make up our EACAP Project for 2015. Our group is made up of four awesome and excited members; Mike, Doug, Joselyn, and Ty.

Mike is an undergraduate in Finance and hoping to make a difference in the local environment.

Doug loves to spend his afternoons in the sun and on the trails. Whichever lets him get closer to the environment.

Joselyn enjoys spending her afternoons in the Spring and Summer in a personal garden she is making at home.

Ty is the muscle of the group. Willing to break his back to help his local environment and provide a better atmosphere.

For our project, our team has chosen to work at Blue Marsh Lake. We will be helping repair and maintain certain parts of the trails. As we progress through this project we will keep this site updated with the details of our work.
