Our community awareness event was a sucess!  Our poster provided usful evidence about our project.  Our poster was about providing the Reading community with an easy route from the Reading Public Museum to the Schuylkill River.   Also, this project helped us build good friendships with our group.  This friendship transferred into a good teamworking environment which provided for collaboration.  We recommend that this EACAP project and all the other EACAP projects continue next semester and semesters thereafter.  Students can use what they learn in the classroom and utilize those concepts and skills into the real world rather than explain them on exams.  

With photo credits to Tommy, our group collaborated outside of the Cyber Café and continued working on our research paper. With the due date fast approaching, our group is putting extra time into our project to get it done.

With photo credits to Jordan, Tommy, Dan, and Kyle were discussing the PH and Alkalinity levels of the Schuylkill River.  We had a lot of fun exploring the trail and seeing all it has to offer!

Our team has decided to go and map out the Schuyulkill River Trail next Friday, October 6th, after our BISC 003 class.  Stay tuned for our results!

We are excited to begin working along side the Schuylkill River National & State Heritage Area!  Our project consists of mapping out connections to the Schuylkill River trail in Reading, PA. Our team members include Kyle, Dan, Jordan, and Tom.  Kyle is a third year accounting major who likes to go to the Penn State football games.  Jordan is also a third year accounting major who enjoys spending her free time hiking in the woods with her dog.  Dan, who is a fourth year criminal justice major, likes to watch the Philadelphia 76ers.  Tom is a third year marketing and management major who is a member of the SGA and likes to play basketball with his friends.

We recently talked to Robert Folwell, the trails project manager of the Schuyulkill River & State Heritage Area this past Wednesday.  We hope to finish our project by the first week of November because it will be getting colder outside and hinder our abilities to map the trail.
