Final Post (Huanjing) May 1, 2016

As a group we all were able to get a lot out of the EACAP project, we were able to learn skills like working in a team, time management and how to organize a large task. We also learned a lot about the importance of rain barrels and the impact that they can have in a watershed and to a household, we also got a better understanding of hard water and what the problems that come with it are. As a group we are proud with the work that we did and are extreme proud of the rain barrels that we created and how it will impact the community as well as the environment. The PowerPoint that we created will give you a brief overview of the work that we did and what we learned while doing the project.

Final project outcome (Huanjing) Apr 20, 2016

Yesterday was our public awareness day where we set up a display in Gaige. We finished both of our rain barrels and as a group we are proud with how they came out. We did a combine of fifteen hours of painting of a month span. We are excited to auction these off and see how much money is raised for the scholarship that goes with them; also we hope that they people that buy them enjoy what we created.rsz_img_2404

We have put seven hours into our project so far with paining the water barrels. We are currently on the finishing steps of the one water barrel that looks like a soup can. The second can probably has a few more hours left till it is finished. We decided to change the idea of the second barrel and scratched the Mountain Dew can idea and are now doing a camo design.

Introduction (Huánjìng) Feb 9, 2016

We are team Huánjìng and the team consists of Michael Deni, Sam Anton, Kody Ingham, and Matthew Manzo. The name of our team comes from the Chinese word for environment and since one of our many goals for this project is to better the environment so we thought this name fit well. As a team we all have unique and critical strengths that when added together is going to allow us to be successful for this project. We are excited to be a team together and looking forward to start our project along with helping the community.Team Huánjìng
