Team Flower Power’s Progress

Since you heard from us last we’ve made a lot of progress! It took us a while to figure out what our mural would look like, but once we had the specific goal of painting the frog cycle, it came together in less time than we expected. Our first day was spent painting the basics of our mural, which you can see here:

The original wall was simply white, so our goal here was to make it more interesting and colorful.

The next few days of work came and went in a blur, we first added some smaller details such as flowers on lily pads and repainted some portions from our first day, such as the frogs.

As we continued on, we added bigger details like words and placed the finishing touches on our mural.

We are so happy with how this mural came out! We hope our colorful mural can stay at Glenside and give the children a beautiful environment to learn in.

Sincerely,

Team Flower Power

Team Flower Update

Hello!

Team Flower Power here! We have been discussing our project with Ms. Karen Houck from Glenside Elementary school. We are planning to create a mural including colorful depictions of nature and the earth, we may additionally decide on adding images that represent the students at the school. We will be posting images of our ideas soon, but we are having some trouble uploading our images.

Super excited,

Team Flower Power
