How do I add an FAQ to the ODL website?

This FAQ is for ODL staff with admin access to this site. If you would like ODL to add an FAQ for you, please contact us.

Directions:

  1. Go to Sites at Penn State and login with your PSU ID.
  2. From the Sites Dashboard, go to EODL Dashboard.
  3. On the left side menu of the EODL Dashboard, go to Projects > Add New.
  4. For the title, enter your FAQ question.
  5. Under the title, click Use The Divi Builder.
  6. Choose Clone Existing Page.
  7. From the page menu, choose FAQ Template, Project. When it opens, click Use this Layout.
  8. Divi builder will open. Scroll down to FAQ Body Section.
  9. Under FAQ Title, you’ll see FAQ – Q&A.
  10. To the left of the title, click on the cog wheel. An editing window will open. You should see:
    1. FAQ question goes here. (This will be the same as the title you entered earlier.)
    2. FAQ answer goes here.
  11. If you see that, replace the text with your question and answer.
  12. If you don’t see that, close the window and try again. Make sure you click on the cog wheel next to FAQ – Q&A.
  13. When finished, click on the green check mark in the bottom-right of window.
  14. Before you save/publish, find the Project Categories box on the right of the screen. Choose the categories where you’d like FAQ to be listed. Or click Add New Category if it is not listed. FAQs are automatically added to the “All” category.
  15. Click Publish for your FAQ to go live, or Save Draft to work on it later.
