How do I schedule all class Zoom sessions from my Canvas course?

 

Step 1: Activate the Zoom LTI in your Canvas Course.

Step 2: Schedule your class sessions within your Canvas Course.

Step 3: Enable your Canvas course Media Gallery (optional).

If you plan to record your class sessions for your students, you can enable your Canvas course Media Gallery and the Zoom recordings will automatically publish to the Media Gallery for all your students to view.

IMPORTANT! When scheduling the course zoom sessions in Canvas, the option  “Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) when scheduling a meeting” must NOT be enabled. If it is, then all of the meetings recorded in your personal zoom room will end up publicly accessible in the course media gallery. This is NOT enabled by default. The problem only arises If you yourself went into the global settings in Zoom and enabled it at any earlier date. Contact us if you are experiencing this problem.
