Fans and scouts saw Bryce Harper as a young teenage sensation when he played for the Hagertown Suns. In the 2010 draft, he was the number one pick for Washington Nationals with his major league debut being in 2012. He then later became a free agent after the 2018 season and signed a contract with his new team.

Harper states this of Philly fans: ““No excuses, good or bad, they don’t care,” Harper said of the Philly fans. “They just want you to keep doing it. I love that mind-set.
