About Me

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” -Maya Angelou

Academic Life
I am currently in my junior year at the Pennsylvania State University, working toward a double major in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. Through the course of my academic career, I’ve diligently studied data analytics, data sciences, management theories, ethics and sustainability which provided me with necessary skills in detail-orientation and comprehensive problem-solving.

Personal Life
My parents immigrated to the United States from Kiev, Ukraine and raised me and my brother in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up, I was surrounded by a plethora of diversity, creativity, and experiences. I believe my environment made me who I am today; my background allowed me to learn from numerous situations, appreciate various cultures and ideas, and discover perseverance from an early age. Besides my education and previous positions at companies, I also enjoy traveling. I have always yearned for the immense education I gain after visiting a new country and admire the compassion, understanding, and life-lessons that come along with it.

Career/ Volunteer Work
My first official job was at my local grocery store when I was 14 years old. It was there that I learned the true value of hard work, the joy in conveying exceptional customer service, and basic skills I needed to advance to a better opportunity. Over the following six years, I worked for restaurants, retail, a real estate office and a law office, all of which prepared me to interact with people, solve daily problems, oversee workflows, and work in a fast-paced environment. Correspondingly, my volunteer work as a Team Leader for Relay for Life in Brooklyn, NY allowed me to slow down and see the world through a new lens. My work with Relay for Life advanced my leadership and organization abilities as well as my will to help change the world around me. With an ultimate goal of a career in Project Management, I will incorporate the relevant ingenuity I acquired from my work experience as well as my intense desire to give back to society into the projects I supervise.
