Last weekend, ESW joined forces with the Wind Energy Club and other like-minded organizations to participate in Sustainability Day. Our goal was to educate students from local elementary and high schools about the importance of sustainability and the role of clean energy in engineering.

Our booth was dedicated to showcasing the benefits of hydropower, with a trifold poster that highlighted key information and fun facts about this clean energy source. Additionally, we offered hands-on demos, including a mini dam and a hydro car, to bring the concept of hydropower to life in a fun and interactive way. To test their newfound knowledge, we included a series of trivia questions, with prizes for the winners.

Overall, it was a great opportunity to inspire students to embrace sustainable practices and think creatively about the future of energy.
