About

Hey, I’m Anna!  I’m a college student at Penn State University (WE ARE), and I’m here because I want to join the conversation about LGBTQA rights.  I grew up with two moms in a tiny borough on the Delaware River, where they (and I) are lucky that they can live in relative peace.  As I went through high school and started my college career, I realized that the world is still a dangerous place for two women or two men to be together, and to oversimplify it, that’s really fucked up.  I picked up a women’s studies major, hoping to learn more about LGBTQA history and issues, and I want to share what I’m learning.  Hopefully, it will help me to organize my thoughts and prepare me for a career in social justice advocacy, and add to the growing conversation about LGBTQA rights.

That being said, please reach out to me with your feedback, comments, opinions, anything!  This site is designed to organize and explore LGBTQA issues, and it would be a great place to debate and work through the thoughts and ideas of everyone.

I can’t wait to hear from you,

Anna
