Inspiration: Aqua Building by Studio Gang

The building facade of Studio Gang’s Aqua Building is the extension of floor plates outwards from the original rectangular box. The floor plates extrude at different lengths to emphasize some areas while also showing the glass curtain wall in others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The facade was generated using topography and the floor plates extruded farther out the higher the topography became. Where there were lakes in the topography, the curtain wall shown through with a relatively flat appearance in comparison.
