  • Fair Trade Trivia/Crazy Bob Game Show in SUB on October 7, 2022
  • Fair Trade table at the Career Fair in Gym on October 19, 2022
  • FT bulletin board in Main building, second floor, was updated for the FT month October
  • FT math project using FT gold beads (Dr. Marina Skyers and Dr. Pezzimenti)
  • Vairo library: FT book display in October 2022
  • Cafeteria: Endangered Species chocolates (2 varieties)
  • Blue Apple Café: Perfect Bars and the Chewy Banana Bites
  • FT intern: Lamia Kamal (federal work-study)
  • Student-led TED Circle events served Fair Trade lunch: on Water Pollution on 11/15
  • Our campus marketing team posted a story on our website: Penn State Brandywine celebrates Fair Trade Month

Spring 2023 semester

  • Fair Trade presentation Wednesday, Feb 15, 2023 12:15 pm – Main 113

    This presentation was a DAA-sponsored event, which was available both in person (Main 113) and via zoom. The speaker, Elizabeth Killough, was a keynote both at a recent Brandywine graduation as well as the Hunger Banquet that we held a few years back.
  • The Center for Social Impact offered fair trade products for its sustainability-themed program offerings such as Ted Ex Circles and the Fashion Show (which was a partnership with Career Services).
  • The Center for Social Impact also offered 2 days of fair trade items (coffee, tea, and fair trade snacks) during finals week. The event called Fair Trade Coffee & Treats and happened Monday 5/1/23 and Tuesday 5/2/23 12:15 -1:30 pm.

Fall 2023 semester

  • Vairo library has a Fair Trade book display.
  • First Year Seminar library workshops with the librarian Annie Jansen use Fair Trade as a sample topic to research.
  • Bookstore: Larabars and Tony Chocoloney.
  • Blue Apple Cafe: Perfect Bars and Hu Snacking Dark Chocolate Gems (2 varieties: salty and mint)
  • Hunger Banquet on 10/17/23. Drew Arata, owner of Earth and State store in Media, was a guest speaker at the event and he talked about Fair Trade. There was a Fair Trade sandwich served at the event.
  • Fair Trade information table in SUB 10/25/23.

Fall 2024 semester

  • Cafeteria: Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (non  dairy option too), Peanut Butter Half Baked, The Tonight Dough flavors; Perfect Bar; Sambozan Acai bowls (2 varieties)
  • Death Wish Fair Trade instant coffee samples were distributed at the Vairo Library Open House on September 5, 2024.

Spring 2025 semester

  •  Welcome back pancake breakfast: Pancake Palooza on 1/15/25 in Parsons Hall from 12:00-1:15 pm.
  • Global Dialogue lunches to offer Fair Trade chocolate chip cookies.
  • Fair Trade display table at Student Expo (tentative)
