They kiss in the dim light,
and I feel his hands
track lightning strikes
over my sides, bare skin
shivering. I sneak my hands
under the hem of his shirt
and feel the muscles
of his stomach tighten
as he pulls me closer
so that my legs wrap
around his hips,
close as can be. We kiss
together like that, in slow
movements and heartbeats
like hurricane winds,
low and looming at a distance.
