Welcome to the Production Blog of Floral Fauna! This idea came about from the prompt of “Slow” for a school project.

This inspiration came from the experience that I have with growing plants and being a pet owner. Raising both plants and animals requires an individual to slow down and take note of what they are doing. ​

Waiting for your plants to grow takes dedication and effort. The feeling of pride and care that comes when they finally bloom unrivalled. Unfortunately, some people do not have a green thumb and cannot get any plant to stay alive.​

Combine those things with an innate love for collection games such as Animal Crossing, Dragonvale, and Sailor Cats and you get everything that went into creating the basis of this app!

That is where the idea of a digital plant or animal came into play. This way even if you forget to water it, it will not wilt!
