73 wins! The best in NBA history! Jordan never did it, Kobe never did it, and Lebron never did it, but Curry did it! We are lucky enough to witness history happening! That 72 wins just passed 20 years and it was broke by this Warriors! When we get old and our grandchildren ask us what happened years ago about that Warriors, we can brag how good they were as witnesses. Here is a fun fact I found out. Kobe Bryant was entered NBA in 1996 and that was the year the Bulls got their 72 wins. The day Kobe retired was the day Warriors got their 73th wins in this season. The span of Kobe’s career connected the old and the new records of the greatest regular season team.

DPOY (Defensive Player of the Year) was the first award was announced by NBA. The winner is Kawhi Leonard who is also the winner of this award last year. He became the first perimeter player winning DPOY in two consecutive years after Dennis Rodman, and the second player winning two DPOY and one FMVP (Final MVP). The second award announced is the Sixth Man of the Year. The winner is Jamal Crawford, who became the first player winning this award three times in the NBA history. So far these two award winner made some history already, but I’m sure we are looking forward to who will win MVP this year, although the answer is pretty obvious.

Conor McGregor announced he would retire young, then UFC announced that he dropped out of UFC 200, the fight with Nate Diaz, and two days later he updated his social medias, claiming that he did not retire and willing to fight in UFC 200. Here is part of his statement: “50 world tours, 200 press conferences, 1 million interviews, 2 million photo shoots, and at the end of it all I’m left looking down the barrel of a lens, staring defeat in the face, thinking of nothing but my incorrect fight preparation. And the many distractions that led to this.” He stated that he wanted any distractions away from himself, so he could focus on his own training. My original thought was that because McGregor witnessed a fighter’s death after his fight with one of McGregor’s teammates, he had  different thoughts about his fighting career. He earned enough money and became one of the richest fighters in UFC, so maybe it is the time to step out of the ring. However, it turned out a drama in the end. UFC made a quick response about McGregor’s situation, claiming Conor McGregor will not fight Nate Diaz in UFC 200. What really behind all this “retirement” thing is still unclear.
