It’s hard for me to believe, but we’ve been closed to the public now for six years. Wowzers. That’ll change next month!
If you’ve been reading our blog since 2013 you know that we’ve had a lot going on here — all new storage, renovations to the collection room, expansion and renovation of the public space, an assessment by external experts, digitization of our collection, reorganization of our collection (with storage upgrades), design and fabrication of new exhibits, rewriting our policies and procedures, etc. We’re just about ready to re-open. We are scheduled to re-open, finally, on Friday, October 11, 2019. We’ll be open for a sneak preview on September 28, during the Great Insect Fair. Come on by and see our new space!
