While choosing a topic for this blog, I knew there was nothing I could talk more in depth about than the country I’ve grown up in.Nothing else makes me more-ME.It’s a really good feeling to see how people here are so excited and aware about Indian food and culture.Often referred to as the land of diversity, India boasts a remarkable blend of cultures, traditions, languages and regions.With over 22 officially recognised languages and more than 1,600 dialects, language is a gateway to understanding the intricate cultural fabric. 

Every culture has its own festivals, which are widely recognised and celebrated by the entire nation. Diwali- the festival of lights, Holi- the festival of colors, Eid, Christmas and Navratri are a few widely celebrated festivals within the country.

Indian cuisine is as diverse as the culture itself, with each region offering a distinct culinary experience.I’m sure everyone’s heard of butter chicken, even if they’ve never been to India.

India is the birthplace of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism and other religions.Despite being so vast and diverse, India is also very united. Come watch an India- Pakistan cricket match and you’ll know exactly what unity I’m talking about!
