Graduate Students
We are always looking for motivated graduate students to join the Urban Transportation Systems Group. Candidates should hold a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other related field and be passionate about transportation systems and academic research. Desired skills include: strong quantitative abilities, stochastic analysis, programming (MATLAB, C++, Visual Basic, Java), and micro-simulation experience.
Potential candidates should apply directly to the graduate program in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (instructions). Candidates are also encouraged to contact Dr. Gayah directly. Please include your research interests, background, relevant skills and career goals. Relevant topics include: traffic flow theory, traffic operations and control, network modeling, multimodal traffic, public transportation systems, urban mobility, and congestion management.
Undergraduate Students
