Engagement Opportunities

EMSAGE

Formed in 2009, the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Academy for Global Experience, or EMSAGE, is the college’s signature undergraduate program for fostering experiential and global competence and promoting a spirit of integrity, service, and leadership. By comprehensively embracing these principles, students develop into leaders in their chosen discipline who possess the breadth and maturity to extend their knowledge to address society’s most pressing problems.

EMS Academy for Global Experience (EMSAGE) Protégé, Practitioner and Laureate Applications – due Sept. 19 for Fall 2021

EMSAGE is a holistic student support community dedicated to supporting students to excel in the areas of scholarship, global and experiential learning and service. Any EMS undergraduate student with 12+ PSU credits post high school and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 is eligible to apply. The EMSAGE module in the EMS Undergraduate CANVAS has videos to help you learn more about EMSAGE, the application process and will have information on live Q&A opportunities. EMS Celebration of Undergraduate Engagement (CUE) 

The Celebration of Undergraduate Engagement (CUE) will be held virtually on April 14-15, 2021. Student presentations, workshops, and guest speakers will highlight undergraduate research and engagement experiences. This year, CUE will join with the college’s 125th Anniversary Celebration to underscore the college’s commitment to provide these opportunities.
