Fall 2023 Safer People Safer Places Training & EMS Rainbow Network

Dates for the Foundations workshop in 2023 are:

  • September 8, 9am-11am, HUB 134
  • October 4, 9am-11am, VIRTUAL
  • October 10, 9am-11am, HUB 134
  • November 2, 9am-11am, HUB 134

And the second class, Transgender and Gender Inclusion, dates are:

  • September 20, 9am-11am, HUB 134
  • October 24, 9am-11am, HUB 134
  • November 10, 9am-11am, VIRTUAL
  • November 17, 9am-11am, HUB 134

Faculty can have their lab become part of the EMS Rainbow Network by taking both classes/workshops and having at least one other group member take the training. These workshops are informative, fun, and help provide strong literacy and understanding of issues facing our LGBTQIA+ community members and what we can do to support them.
