By school bus/car/van:

State College is located off of I-80 in central Pennsylvania. Route 322 runs through State College.

The entire event will take place at the HUB (The Hetzel Union Building). If you look at the campus map, you will see a red arrow pointing to the HUB.
Since buses are not allowed in the vicinity of the HUB, and it is a rather long walk from the parking lot, we ask you or your bus driver to drop off your students between the Chemistry Building and the Huck Life Center. We have circled the spot on the map. It is a cul-de-sac, and hence, it should be easy (at least I hope so) for your you/your bus drivers to turn and drive to the parking lot. At the drop-off spot, there will be German Day volunteers to greet you. They will hand over parking permits to you and your bus drivers, and finally, they will walk your students (and you if you are not driving) to the HUB. The Parking Permits for school buses and vans are for parking at the Porter North Parking Lot. Right next to Beaver Stadium. On the map, another red arrow points to it.

State College trivia:

Like many travelers to Penn State’s campus, you may be confused as to the exact location of Penn State.  Is the university in State College or University Park?  Actually, both answers are correct!  The town is called State College, but the university lands are officially referred to as University Park. This is why all campus addresses are listed as University Park, but any off-campus local addresses are listed as State College. Local legend holds Milton Eisenhower — former Penn State president and brother of U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower — responsible for the decisions leading to this confusion.
