Hi everyone! My name is Megan Andrews, and I am currently a senior graduating in May with my B.A. in Law and Society. I am a full-time paralegal, and a full-time student, and I also have a 14-year-old son, and a 5-month-old puppy, so I’m currently extremely busy. Eventually I will be going to law school as I aspire to be a public defender. I look forward to working with all of you this semester!

Introduction
Hello Class,
My name is Justin Neumann, and this is my second semester with World Campus on a journey to obtain a BA in Organizational Leadership. I am reaching out to you from CT where I live with my wonderful wife and three energetic daughters (2, 3, and 6 yrs. old). I currently work at Sikorsky Aircraft (best helicopter in the world) where I started out as an electrical installer for army, navy and executive helicopters but now work as an electronic technician in the maintenance department taking care of machines that build helicopter blades. I have chosen OLEAD in hopes to become a well-rounded manager/team leader someday. I am especially excited about this class because I feel that it will help prepare me for future leadership roles within Sikorsky’s parent company Lockheed Martin who has a vast global presence with endless opportunities to grow.
I look forward to learning from you,
Justin
Introduction Post Zhane Woodall
Hi class, my name is Zhane Woodall and this is the first time I have ever posted on a blog. I am a Strategic Communications major and this is one of my last college classes ever! I live in San Antonio, Texas currently, but I enjoy moving around and hope to see a new place in a few years to call home. I am Active Duty Air Force and chose this class because surprisingly the military has taught me everything I know about being a leader and after deploying 2 years ago I have grown fascinated with how other countries work. I am ready to sponge learn everything I can in this class!
Welcome and meet your instructor
Hi all,
This is sample post to help ease your concerns about posting here. Basically you can’t mess up the technology, so please hit the “+ New” button above, choose “post”, and write your test blog entry (this one doesn’t count towards your final tally of blog entries). Then feel free to comment on your classmates’ entries as a test of that as well. If you don’t see the “+ New” above, please contact me and I will get you author rights.
For your actually posts for the semester (You’ll need to complete 4 entries and also 4 comments) you will need to apply a course concept or two to something relevant to your life and a topic we are discussing in class such as a specific country or region. Please make sure to explain the idea and how it fits.
This is a slightly less formal assignment, and it should also be fun. But remember that it is a class assignment, so you will need to demonstrate your learning by applying a course concept (and citing and referencing), it shouldn’t just be a personal journal.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have about this assignment in Canvas or at: bfr3@psu.edu
As for who I am, my name is Brian Redmond, and I’ll be your instructor for the semester. I’m from a lot of places. I was born in Upstate New York near the Canadian border, but spent most of my early life in Vermont. I went to New York City for graduate school and lived both there and in New Jersey. I spent a year back in Upstate New York before moving to Arizona for my first full-time teaching job. From there I moved to Pennsylvania back in 2008 to work here at Penn State. I work for the World Campus because I love online education. I’ve been teaching online since 2004 and made the switch to full-time faculty in 2008, so I’ve worked with a lot of great students from all over the world in the over 100 sections I’ve now taught. For hobbies, I am a sci-fi fan, and I’ve been reading and watching a lot of classics recently. They give me inspiration as all leaders need to think about the future. I also am a big baseball fan. All sorts of baseball. I love coaching my son’s team in the summer and also enjoy going to see the local minor league team play; the State College Spikes.
I look forward to working with you all this semester.
Introduction Blog
Hello Classmates,
My name is Eric Miller and I am not at all certain I’m doing this correctly. The structure of this class is a bit foreign to me, but I’m attempting to start an introduction discussion. I’m currently majoring in IT and Penn State World Campus and should be done next semester. I chose this class because I’m curious as to what traits great leaders from all over the world share. I enjoy traveling and playing with my Weimaraners. As I previously stated I’m not familiar with this format as all my other classes are entirely in canvas. If anybody knows how/where to access this weeks assignments please let me know. I’m hoping to have great semester and I look forward to working with you all.
