Hello! My name is Eric Anderson, I’m originally from the Philadelphia area, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. In my current role as Director of Client Services, I lead the customer success team for a software company that helps non-profits run great fundraising events. I’ve evolved my team from the early startup days (picture three people working side-by-side in an apartment) to a headcount of 70+ individuals across over a dozen cities. This role, which I’ve been in for 6 years, has been my first management position and I’ve grown increasingly excited and passionate about my personal development as an effective leader. My ultimate goals are tied to senior leadership in innovative and socially conscious technology teams, so I’m looking forward to learning everything this course has to offer!
Outside of work, you can find me performing as a piano accompanist and musical director or spending hours at the dog park with my crazy little mutt named Penny.

Hey Eric, how awesome it must be to live in Brooklyn, they have some of my favorite pizza! I am originally from Queens NY but have spent the majority of my life in PA, not far from the Poconos. It sounds like you have a very rewarding career being able to help those who help the masses. Best of luck to you this semester. Also crazy puppies are what it is all about 🙂

Hi Erin,
i can definitely relate regarding the start-up days! I left the clinical side of nursing 4 years ago to join the “corporate” side of the world. We began as a team of two and over the past 4 years, we have had a new job class created within the institution, I now am lucky enough to manage the team, and have 9 individuals that report directly to me. I absolutely love what I do, and am so proud of all that has been built with a fantastic team!!
