First GEC Dinner with the Leadership Team @ Pollock! #psugec Everyone enjoyed the delicious meal while sharing some experiences of traveling and living in different countries! Nothing is better than learning about different cultures and making new friends with GEC on a Monday night! We understand how difficult it could be adapting to a new environment & we understand the importance of cultural diversity!! And that’s why we exist!! Join the Global Engagement Community @ PSU and make it your second home!!
I hope you have a great first day of classes! I’m looking forward to getting our group together and meeting more of you.
I wanted to let you know about an opportunity to watch an Iranian movie and participate in a discussion around the movie for 1 academic point. The film is called “Finding Faridah.” More info @http://www.bigskyfilmfest.org/festival/films-2019-peak/finding_farideh/
The film will be shown with English subtitles.
This event will be held in Foster Auditorium (PSU Library) from 7-9 pm on September 4th (Wednesday).
If you attend the event, be sure to go to the “docunight” “assignment” in Canvas and submit 3+ sentences about the experience within 1 week of the event. That is how you will receive your 1 Active Status academic point.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
