What are Intercultural Assessments?

Intercultural Assessments are tools used to measure a person’s intercultural competence, defined as “the capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behavior to cultural differences and commonalities.” (IDI LLC, 2023). Global Engagement currently has trained facilitators in two intercultural assessments: The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) assessment.
