How can I contact an Orientation Leader?
Do I have an assigned Orientation Leader?
Yes and No. You will be assigned to an orientation leader group as part of your in-person orientation upon arrival to University Park. However, you will not be assigned an orientation leader or group for any virtual sessions.
How can I become an Orientation Leader?
The Orientation Office hires full-time Penn State students to work as Orientation Leaders (OLs) each year. OLs may work International New Student Orientation (INSO) prior to following semesters: Summer Session 2, Fall, and Spring. OLs may work other programs supported by the Global Engagement office.
Become part of a team that helps new Penn State students and families learn about campus resources and campus life, provide them with support and information that will help make their transition easier, and be a general resource to them and be someone they can connect with when they have questions or need support. Being an OL also strengthens your leadership and professional skills!
You will be able to see our Orientation Leader job posting in the spring semester through WorkDay. If you are interested in being notified when this position becomes available, please fill out the Orientation Leader (OL) Interest Form.
